Default Labor Day Weekend! (in U.S.)

Anybody have anything special planned for this upcoming 3-day weekend?

My girlfriend and I are heading down to Cedar Point (roller-coaster filled amusement park in Ohio) on Monday. Supposedly that's the best day to go since everyone is travelling back home that day. Works out great for us since we only live like 4 hours from there at most.

I never realized how great Labor Day was until just now since I'm in my first couple months of full-time labor. Having even a single day off is going to be very nice.

Ours is 1 October. Next weekend is the APEC long weekend, because APEC is being held in our city, and George Bush has decided to come early, causing mayhem because the authorites are freaking out that someone will try to kill him.

Just got back from Cedar Point and Toledo, OH today. We had a really great time. Toledo was a bit run-down overall, but they had a really amazing art museum and a pretty nice zoo.

Cedar Point was also great fun. I hadn't been there for about 11 years, and some of the new rides are damn intense. They've got a coaster called "Top Thrill Dragster" which accelerates faster than a top fuel dragster  It seriously almost hurt it was so fast! If you've never been there, do yourself a favor and check it out

George Bush came last night, and today, decided to go mountain biking. News choppers were all lying in wait to see him fall off, but he seemed in pretty good nick.
