Default What I drive

I thought that this might be a nice introduction for myself. I drive them, don't own them though.....

2000 Volvo V70 2.5D:

1994 Renault Laguna 1.8RT (bought in early 2002):

(terrible picture, but the only one I have right now )

The Laguna is quite fast for its 90hp (done when we still lived in Germany):

I do own AND drive this mean machine:

Default Nice set of wheels

He Martijn,

Grtz

No on a straight road, and more then once. Also checked it with a handheld GPS and calculated it from the RPM's/tiresize, both came to a real 207km/h. Renault states an official 180km/h, and my friends '96 Renault Laguna only gets up to an indicated 190..... weird, but cool.

Over 200km/h?! That's way cool man! haha.. maybe it's just one of those freakish things where your engine probably develops more than is stated.. maybe good tuning, or high performance petrol? heh

We're the third owner on the Laguna. The first owner was an old man that only did 30.000km in 4.5 years. The only options on the car are a sunroof and an integrated childseat. After that, some younger guy bought it and only drove long distances, 60.000km in just 1.5 years. So that's probably what an engine likes, as it performs excellent and the fuel consumption is also quite low.

Welcome to the site!

Never knew a Laguna 1.8 was capable of doing that...

Nice bike as well. Mine is a total wreck compared to that. Also the chain broke almost a year ago and I still haven't replaced it. Lazy fucker, I know. I do everything by foot or public transport (which is ten times worse than walking IMO).

Groeten uit Groningen.
