Default Official PGR4 thread

Post anything related to the game here

starting off with a few screens and some really interesting info.

May 10, 2007 - With all the hooplah over the May release of Forza 2, Project Gotham Racing 4 has gone under the radar. That changes today. Microsoft revealed some new info about Bizarre Creations' fall racer.

Bizzare's goal for PGR 4 is to create an "emotionally-charged racing experience." One way that will be accomplished is through the new career mode. As your driver progresses, winning races and racking up kudos, he gains new fans. They cheer just for him as he passes other drivers. And thanks to the revised kudos system, your newly-confident driver will pump his fist as he passes an opponent. Just don't get too full of yourself, because the AI promises to be as big as showoff as your virtual driver.

Also added is a new dynamic weather system. You won't turn on and off rain or worry about a snow flurry in one specific track. The weather changes and you never know what to expect when you start your engine. The weather will force you to adjust your driving techniques, particularly when powering around corners in any of the 10 different locations in PGR 4.

Of course, you're going to need some fancy cars to race in these fancy new conditions. Here's just a taste of some of the cars in PGR 4's garage:

* 2004 TVR Sagaris
* 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray
* 2005 Vanwall GPR V12
* 1993 Toyota Supra Turbo
* 2005 Gumpert Apollo
* 1997 Panoz GTR-1 Coupe
* 2006 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
* 1957 Maserati 250F

What a game it's turning out to be

Visually stunning - but unless they fix the control, replays, photo-mode and variety of tracks, it'll just be more of the same

The PGR series are designed to be an arcade/sim game not a full on sim like the GT series or Forza

btw, it just said 10 locations so it could mean 10 cities.

Im not gonna buy it unless they add more tracks that rnt city circuits. PGR3 was kinda a let down when compared to other racing games. But it was alot better then NFS.

The Apollo .

As for the tracks, its probably 9 cities like others have said, and the ring. Just think of the 10 most populous or famous cities in the world, and vola you got your unimaginative tracks.
