I nominate Jabba. All his useless video post get on my nerves. J/K. Love the sight and am glad you are doing this. I was getting tired of looking at post I had already looked at and finding nothing but useless banter added on to a great post.

jabba i was laughing so much when i read this cuz in a way you created it. a better way to monitor posting would be to see the ratio of posts frequency and download frequency. if person "A" downloads 14 vids in 3 weeks but posts 3-4 then zap em. if a person posts more closer to the amount of vids downloaded keep em. how do you do this, dunno. i just came up with an idea, hope u can make the best of it.

I get bored of lookin these consecutive posts.. As I can feel Jabba and TT are get bored 2 to check these useless posts..

Thank God JW recognizes this problem! Don't get me wrong, I love racingflix.com, but it seems that O-Ace doesn't do much at all about OBVIOUS post-count spam. It's probably because it's a partially pay site (racingflix) .. but I just can't stand it. I feel bad flaming people on racingflix, but I feel it's my duty as a good-forum-user to let dumba$$es know what they're doing is pissing the rest of us off! Thank god I won't have to do that on JW. Thanks for recognizing this problem Jabba! You Da Man!

P.S. I didn't read every single post in this thread, so this may have already been suggested..... but a good way to curb some of this spamming, is to disable the post count display. People may still spam in attempt to gain access to the videos, but it will stop all the idiots who spam just to have "the highest post count". Depending on your forum software, the moderators should still be able to see the count, and know when users are at 50 posts. Anyway, just a suggestion.

This can cause a little chaos I though..
If not displayin the post numbers.. Some of laggers start to post until they enter the group.. So this can be gone forever or gettin banned..

i think the only solution is to ban people who spam and maby give them a warning. Hopefully the people will just use there common sense and do the right thing.

Anyway, so far we're not that much, so we can still the problems case by case

And another thing.. there are users that are not trues spammers, but that never posted a review of a vid longer than 2 lines..

Ok, maybe there are some (me included that posts) to long ones... and I can't say a longer review mean the person appreciated the vid more than somebody posting "great video, strange results" or something like that..

BUT well.. when I watch somebody's post, and I see 50, 60 or 100 of them, and none longer than 2 lines, I wonder if he really likes to be there...

on another note, jabba's stipulations for download link access are somewhat of a double-edged sword. it promotes contribution but it also promotes post-whoring. this was easy to see coming. unfortunately there's no one-sided solution. there'll either be leaches who don't contribute, or leaches who post-whore, it sucks.

Did everyone over-look this rule clearly mentioned in the download access rules:

"Absolutley no SPAMMING to increase your post count will be accepted whatsoever..... "

So far its around 5 people that have broken this rule...and they are extremely easy to identify and remove...I was hoping to shame them into changing their ways...if they knew what a nuisance they had become...but if they choose to continue then they will leave us with no alternative but to consider removing them...as I really dont want Jabbas World spoilt by a few arseholes....

Although geekdiggy can be extremely rude sometimes I cannot see why he shoud be added to the spammers list...I also think some of his posts can be quite "entertaining" sometimes... as long as you dont take them too seriously

the reason i said u,and im sure the other 2 people who did said u coz the only reason you have that ammount of posts is most replys you give are being offensive to sum1

i dont dis-like you,im sure your a nice guy,but it just pisses me off,and im quite sure im not alone on it,that you reply to peoples posts with offensive comments,some can be funny,as jabba said,but when they are aimed at sum1 im sure that person doesnt like it.

jabba and TT say they want a friendly site,personally,i dont think thats possible with sum1 making offensive comments most the time

jabba, why not just allow people to download the vids. leeches will ask ppl from this site to get the vids, leeches will trade with ppl with the site for the vids, or ppl from this site will merely pass it on to friends and it will get passed around. There are times when ppl miss downloads and they are posting frequently. where's thje justice. i posted a request in the vids section and NO ONE wanted to help me out. they didnt want to be bothered with sharing the vids so why should we be bothered by leeches on the site. If ppl post they will, if not you cant make them, I myself was a moderate poster and posted only when i felt strongly about something, i didnt post as often but non of my posts were, "yeah great vid". I dont know, maybe youll find a way to figure this out. i hope i said something worth writing cuz i wrote a lot of stuff, just had to get it out of my chest.
