Default [SPOILER] 2008 Spanish GP

Round 4: Gran Premio De Espana Telefonica
Barcelona, Spain

Free Practice 1:

Free Practice 2 at 14:00
It can be viewed online through this link:

Showers are supposedly predicted on Sunday. While rain would make the race more exciting, I'd prefer a dry race just to see how the cars compare with each other after extensive test and upgrades.

Ferrari are flying!!
Rain would definitely affect the race.. I hope it stays dry for same reason as you - to see distinct benchmarks in who's performing.
EDIT: Watching live practice - How good is NO traction control!! Oversteer for everyone

Free Practice 2:
Raikkonen remains the fastest, the order in the timesheets is a little odd

Free Practice 3 on Saturday 11:00

Quite a big diff in time between and hard and soft compound. I wonder what strategy Ferrari will use tomorrow on Kimi.

I think you'll find fuel has a lot to do with their qual time. Nevertheless, it would be great for Alonso at his home race - the crowd went nuts when he qualified!!

BMW ahead of Mclaren.. Interesting. Ferrari are definitely running strongest - Kimi posting P1 on the last lap of the day was the ultimate upset / showing who's boss.

Can't wait for the race!

ya...too bad we don't get to hear what Alonso said after his engineer told him Kimi is P1, P2 for him as he was celebrating already....

^I am pretty sure he's happy either way. Compared to the first race performance, Renault made a long way.

Yeah!!! Another Ferrari 1-2! They've been steamrolling the competition so far! Third consecutive win and second 1-2 (could've been their third barring Massa's spin in Malaysia). Turkey is next and the team will most likely do well.

Good to hear Heikki is fine

Great start by Hamilton

Nice to see Alonso approach his fans despite the disappointment of retiring early

I think Kimi is improving in his speech He was much easier to understand

Typical spanish GP, not much action going on. Looks like Ferrari is on the course to collect the championship.

yup, the loss of ts didn't improve overtaking one bit...took DC 3 laps to get by Sato even though he was 3-4 sec a lap faster...season is turning into a 1 horse race...if not for Massa's sand excursion in Sepang, Ferrari would have 3 1,2 finishes in 4 races...we better c multiple winners, not just Ferrari and Mcl
