Seems pretty minor - i guess you don't have whiplash or anything then...?

What's the 323 like to drive when you're not getting run into?

Antonio- Headlight itself doesn't need to be replaced. The turnsignal on the 2000 model year is a seperate peice. The majority of the cost is going to be the paint work and door alignment. It doesn't open quietly

Blink- the 323 is pretty tame, especially with the GM 5L-60E automatic transmission. but as far as handiling, it's the same as any E46...minus the Sport Package and M3

Tough accident. Middle-aged women and upwards (in age) tend to be pretty rude and irresponsible drivers. A lot of them also drive large cars, which sucks when you don't.

btw its called 'fender'
That's an American term, I think. I've always known it as the bumper.

matt, maybe in australia the fender is called the front 1/4 panel? i dunno. BMW calls the trim strip under the doors a rocker panel which i always referred to as the section above the rear wheels. which they call the rear 1/4 panel

I've heard the terms "wheel arches" and "quarter-panel" but I'm not sure what that part is called here.
