ASUS's Eee PC
I'm surprised no one's talking about this sub-1 kilogram and sub-$500 PC laptop. I'm thinking of recommending this to our GM and to my cheapskate friend.

well the fact that you cant do shit on them might be the reason.
to me its a over sized wrist calculator/pda phone... something like that.
