I don't know about you, but the ps3 isn't a portable device... it goes where the TV/home theatre is, and wired is muuuuch quicker load times and network sharing.

the 20GB version was never released in europe IIRC. but i guess i could have it sent to my sister who is currently in the states... but on the flip-side if something goes wrong i'm pretty much fucked with the warranty and whatnot i'm most concerned about that. since the US dollar is so weak currently getting the console in the states would be a real option... if it weren't for the warranty issue.

i'm a poor broke student so i really don't know if i should take that risk...

Yeah but at the same time, my router (wifi) is not in my living room either. In fact my router is in my room and my PS3 is in my living room.
