Pininfarina have been something besides satisfied with the amount of initiative taken by Ferrari themselves on the design side as of late. The 612 is no beauty queen... but, it does kinda fit in with the crowed well...
I agree with you, but... the Veyron is by far not an exotic design either... next to a Spyker, or Murcelago... why drift your eyes to a Veyron?

actually the Veyron is quite an influential design, if yer ask me. Alot of the new phase of supercars and sports cars are adapting features first seen on the Veyron. I think it's far more beautiful than a Murcielago or Spyker.
It should be remembered that the Veyron originally evolved out of a SKETCH....and the car was build around a design, as opposed to usually a car being built around engineering.
The 612 just looks generic to me....even the Bentley has more presence in that picture....much more actually.

much how corvette design seems to be influencing the european cars these days
Don't get me wrong, but the Veyron is amazing to look at, but it doesn't have exotic flair.... it's like the chrysler of exotic cars design wise, and... well, the bugatti of performance

off the top of my head
599 GTB has a lot of corvette lines, shapes, stance, and vents.
of course, there isn't much in europe in teh area of frond engine rear drive, 2 door hi-po sports cars either...

i peronally think the 599 GTB rips of the old Toyota Supra faaaar more than any Corvette.
|
disagree, first thing i thought when i saw it was: basic shape looks like a corvette... I
m used to it now, see the obvious differences in detailing... but that first impression was of a corvette

My favorite color combo too. I think in the NL it costs over 2.000.000€. The prices there are crazy.
