The "test" here was shortly after a C6 with Coil overs ran over a rail road tie sized piece of wood, where there was a failure. I believe Paftd were the specific brand in that case.

Lou had success, but also in this kind of re-conditioned test, Aaron also performed this obtuse, and beyond any kind of normal use test with identical results.

While I cant get into the difference in the two companies products, I can say that Lous arguement is more then correct. The source of any failure that would bend the shock mount could only be caused by reaching the bump stops and not having adequate shock travel and bump stops in place. The shock mount itself should have little to no influence on failure via a vi switching to coil overs. While Lou implied some things about Pfadt, he did not interpret pfadts design.

Oh man - I thought this bit of Lou-Crapoganda had died on Corvette forum. Lou and crew may run a good race, and pay the right people to build their race cars, but they ar enot engineers by any stretch of the imaginaiton - Aaron Pfadt is an engineer and it shows in the goth and progress of hi sdeisgns and soutions.

LG have sold the same outsourced shock for a number ofr years, while Aaron has actually developed, engineered and created his own line of shocks.

hehe, I am sure you buy those for a reason. I was actually searching for Pfadt shocks at one point to see what you are talking about. When it hit the products page, the it rings a bell I saw it somewhere LOL
