Default New part for my miata...

Just Installed an Autopower rollbar on my car. I feel a little safer haha.

Looking good. What is the quality tube/welds/finish of the Autopower bar like? There setup is on my short list of sources.

The welds are good, not the best I have seen, but they dont look too bad. I was impressed with the product overall, the car feels noticeably stiffer in the rear now. They do not do much finish work so I painted the bar semiflat, they just barely paint it to keep surface rust/corrosion off, so I would sandblast it and paint it before installing. The way the miata bar mounts is extremely solid (you could easily lift the car by it i would think) it took 12 grade 9 nuts/bolts and two studs to install it. I would buy another if needed.

I think it gives the MX-5 a much more masculine look, I had a 1.8i sport in the slightly older shape and wish I had installed a roll bar. I loved mine, just couldn't fit in it comfortably.

"How much power did it give you?"

Large amounts

A few tasteful mods and the miata looks quite angry

obviously you havent seen my last miata, 441whp on pump, 620ish on race. with a built 1.8 haha I think the thread is still on here somewhere. If not I can post pics.

as for my ratio...I dont know where that comes from, i stopped downloading from here long before the ratios were in effect. I use bittorrent for other sites however.

Only power mods are i fabbed me an intake and heat shield. I have a 93 shell that will get the majority of crazy work, this is just a daily.

Thanks for the positive comments. Soon as I am done seam welding the 93 i will start posting pics. It will be a pretty hardcore car.

Even for a daily driver a rollbar is a good idea!

Looking forward to that other one though

Don't worry about Spiffu he's just angry because he can only do a single rear wheel burnout.
I have the 06 model, I don't have that problem.
