Default The brand new D3 @ the racetrack

Hi,

Have just find a great micro site dedicated to the Nikon D3. Designed to shoot incredible sharp and low noise pics in low light situations. For all of you who are fond of photography ... Enjoy !!!
This baby wets my appetite, can't wait anymore, I have put my order in since mid september

Are you going to get new lenses? From what I read, with the DX lenses you get much lower image sizes. I would love to get a D300 myself.

Gosh! Those ice berg and motorcycle photos are unbelievable! Especially the one motorcycle photo with sparks and an ISO of 6400(!) which looks absolutely amazing! Thanks for the link, I wish I could afford a D3.

How much should you pay for the camera, and decent lenses?

holy ass crackers!!!! Those are some insane shots. I don't want to think about how much the lenses to achieve some of them cost though

The camera costs 5000€ here in Belgium. The 300mm 2.8 VR telelens which I bought in the Nederlands costs 4500€ and the 70-200mm 2.8 VR zoomlens which I bought in the Nederlands as well costed me 1500€. That was 2 years ago cause now it will cost me more. I bought that one at its lowest price ever.
I order my gear at www.cornevaniperen.com I'm very pleased with the service and prices he offers.

I'm almost certain that the same gear at your place will be cheaper than it is here in Belgium or in Holland.
It would be more economical for me to fly over to the US and get me one of those cameras over there, but I don't due to lack of time.

Hope this answer meets your satisfaction

Cheers

Oh Yeah !!! It sucks big time when you have to wait that long for such a mindblowing piece of gear.
I ordered mine in september and paid a deposit as well. It's regular bussines I know ... . The last thing I have heard is that they take the waiting lists into account and if there is a pro who ordered his/her D3 after will have to wait for it as well. So, you will get yours first. But what the heck ... I hate queuing anyway

It is going to magnificent once I can bang one of those around

Cheers
