With a serious effort I could try to understand the guys trying to sell the idea to the corporate cats. But I will never understand those who approved it.

Did they even do a market research and find out what Yaris's potential audience is? I bet most of them are parents.

The idea is that this is what fathers think every time men take out their daughters. The Yaris will therefore assuage all his doubts because it's really safe. I thought it was rather funny, if not a remarkably effectie advertisement.

I've never driven a Yaris. The worst car I've driven remains the Holden Viva.
