Default Tord Linnerud (rally driver) robbed

From Henning Isdal Tords co-driver. from WWW.RALLYFORUM.COM

FROM HENNING ISDAL CO-DRIVER OF TORD LINNERUD!! edit: (Not me!)

To all rally friends!
Will you keep eyes and ears open? As some on this forum may know, I am the codriver of Norwegian driver Tord Linnerud. We are campaigning a Toyota Corolla WRC in the Norwegian championship as well as selected international events.
Last saturday (14.02) we did the Rally Finnskog event in Kongsvinger Norway. Sadly we retired with engie failiure, but that wasn`t the worst. On the night to sunday, someone methodically robbed Tord`s service vehicle (parked near his home at Kapp, Norway). Nearly everything in the large service vehicle was stolen, including lots of parts for Corolla WRC, many complete wheels/tyres Pirelli/Michelin studded winter tyres and lots of tools.
Both WRC-parts and wheels are not easily sold (if possible at all). Market for winter rally tyres is the Nordic countries and possibly Russia and the Baltic States. There are not very many Corolla WRC cars in this area - so the number of "customers" are very few.
Tord is devasted. Nearly everything he has built up during several years is lost. I will plead to all forum members with all their contacts to keep eyes and ears open.

Contact THEM as fast as possible if you see something.

(I have no relations to Tord Linnerud or his team, just spreading the word)

thats terrible and infuriating. its always so frustrating to hear when this kind of thing happens. its like a band getting all their instruments stolen. as the movie pulp fiction says: you never mess with a man's ride!!!

Nice to see Europe is just as crime ridden as the rest of the world...

What is the world coming to
Have taken the liberty to relay the message to the UK based PistonHeads messageboard and the Dutch based Gummen messageboard.
Let us hope that the stolen parts are quickly recovered and that Tord and Henning are able to participate in their next rally with a competative car.

This kind of thing pisses me off! In most of these cases the thief doesn't even know what he exactly nicked and if he can sell it or not. If he can't, the stuff usually ends up destroyed or thrown away. Dumbasses... Regardless of that, people should just lay off other people's belongings.
