Default le mans 24hrs - which car?

Which car did you use to win the 24hr le mans race? I hae tried several incl. f1 car, but I cant seem to get good enough milage on the tires before i have to pit.

Yeh IMO its a huge flaw in the game that for endurance races you have to pit every 3 laps at la sarthe on decent racing tyres. I hope they do something about it in GT5 maybe scale tyre wear to the race distance so for example, racing medium tyres in a 10 lap race you pit 5 laps but racing tyres in a 24 hour race which in reality is about 300 laps then pit every 30 laps etc etc.

All race car goes to pit early so don't worry but I recommend you to race with mercedec c9 sauber race car or bentley speed8 le mans car.Use RSH it will help you.

Any of the reasonably recent prototype LeMans racers will do, the 787B, the R92CP, the 88-C, Bentley Speed 8, Audi R8, Sauber C9, etc...etc... Just fit the car with RSH tires and your tires should significantly outlast those on the competition. The F1 car is a bit harder to use as you pretty much need it in a low-ish downforce setting with long gearing, and the tires, since they are unchangeable, tend to mean you spend more of the race in the pits than is ideal.

I won it the first time in the Mercedes CLK-GTR which I tuned up to 1000bhp+. I wouldn't recommend it though, as it really doesn't have the grip of the prototypes.
