Thats it for now, or so it seems. My box to ship it in is on its way here, i imagine it will be here wed/thurs because of christmas. What a shitty time for the box to break...

it depends on the product whether or not a 90 day warrenty is normal. For video games u get 90 days to return it unopened or something like that, and there are a few things that have really short warrenties like that. But for electronic goods like that most of the time the warrenty is a year, like headunits for you car (CD players) normally have a year warrenty. And it was like microsoft was scewing the people in America with a 90 day warrenty while Britan got a year warrenty. I think enough people were bitching, and someone filed a class action lawsuit, so they changed it.

i think it depends on the product and the manufacturer and the store how long the warrenty is, because alot of stuff that I have bought has a year warrenty. IDK though

i was a proud owner of my xbox360
until today

it gave up on me

i was playing nba2k7, and then it freezed on me, and then i restarted,, it freeze in dashboard, restart again, freeze on the xbox logo, and then again, freeze the whoel thing, dont see shit, and then gave me the famous 3 red light

and now, the lights are gone, but still everythign is frozen.. so fucking piss


i am fucked,, it is moded, so the warranty sticker inside the 360 is tear off..FUCK
maybe i will ask the guy to refalsh to o3m firmware, and send it to microsoft, and pay them some money to fix

Look on eBay. I would also research on how to fix it sense you really have nothing to lose. Rumor is that the sodders in the GPU are bad. Google it, see if/how other people are fixing their boxes

well, its been 2 and a half weeks, still no box from XBOX to ship my box back to them. Starting the get irritated......

UPDATE

So I finally got "my" XBOX back . Its been a long time in comming, because the shipping took forever due to the holidays. Ill give XBOX credit, as soon as my XBOX reached the facility I had another one on its way 2-3 days later. Another plus is I got a BRAND NEW BOX!!!!! The box is basically a year and a half newer then my "old" box. I havnt tested it yet (I know, shame on me but I was working on the Porsche all day) but I imagine it will be good 2 go.
