Default Infinity Q45 better than LS430 ?!

I was very shocked when I saw the technical data about the Q45!!!

4.5litre V8 engine
365 hp @ 6400 rpm
469 Nm @ 4000rpm

Isn't it more impressive than the 745i figures? I know it has a "japanese" look, but I like the head lamps!...and the interior...luxury everywhere...!

But is it really a better car than a LS430? Does anyone have any experience with the Q45?

Please give opinions!

Thanx!

I already drove the 2003 Infiniti Q45 of my uncle and I can say this car is very powerful, luxurious and stealth too.

The Q45 has a lot more personality than the fake Mercedes look of the Lexus Ls 430.

Here my choice: 1-BMW 745i
2- Infiniti Q45
3- Lexus Ls 430

They beat the crap out of the LS430 on Top Gear, they even prefered a Hyundai !!

LS430 is too ubiquitous, too many of Toyotas around(at least in So-California) and they all are ugly! Infinity Q45 is much MUCH better. I mean, look at those gatling gun headlights! If i was to chose and money wasn't a problem, i'd get an Audi A8 for luxo-barge with V8.

Lexus LS430 is heavily based on the design of the previous generation S Class.
Thats the main reason why its so slabby and squared.

Its a good car though, but I would take a 745i over it too

Do you know any performance data "Schwalbe JG 44" about the Q45?

It would be nice to see!

A lexus will still be a Toyota because in Japan its badged as Majestic. Infiniti somewhat looks more original than Lexus. As for which car... I heard that lexus is really quiet while the infiniti produced more power than the previous Nissan President they did.

Infiniti's interior quality is inferior to that of Lexus. The buttons feel cheap and infiniti really seems to have a thing for painting plastic to look like metal (it doesn't). I agree with what others here have said about the exterior styling of the two.
