Default Fiat Panda Monster

You can find a dutch press article about it here: (I couldn't find anything in english)
http://www.auto55.be/content/page.php?id=5783

The car is supposed to be a coöperation of Fiat and Ducati. It's powered by a 695cc Ducati engine and there will only be 695 made of it. You'll only be able to buy one of the internet, not via the usual dealer network.

What I was wondering, does anybody know the specs?

the reason for the naming apparently is out of the fact that it will get an engine out of a Ducati Monster

Who on earth decided to name a car a panda anyway?

Monster and Panda interesting combination. I wonder how it will go because of low torque.

Indeed that's what I was wondering myself.

It will probably accelerate pretty good because of the hp's.

It would have been cool if they made a stripped out lightweigt version with a 1200cc BMW bike engine.

And the name of the car is indeed pretty unfortunate

If a lady in the bar ask what car you've got and you say it's a Monster she might consider coming home with you. But when you're walking to you're car and she sees it's a Fiat Panda... don't think Bratt Pitt would get away with that

lol
Ducati has more powerfull enfines why they used only 695cc version; 992cc 84 hp and 84 nm version would be better.

Probably because the larger engines would be too expensive to be wasted on a cheap-ass Panda.
