I'll believe the 245 mph claim when I see it. With that kind of drag and frontal area, I think he'll be lucky to see the high side of 220.

a) youll never see it.. hennessey is well known for never delivering cars and stealing parts from one car to put on other ones.

b) theres a pic of one of the few of these that actually made it to customers in my picture section.. He was behind me on the race track.. handling isnt the cars strong point. Did have 1000 hp though.

^^lol, not to attack but.... shut up, thats why (Simpsons reference). Just appreciate its american power and panache. Not everyone can get it right like bmw.

If I were an uber rich person, I'd buy this and make it a part of my highway killer collection.

Why buy an imperfect car with your hard earned money while you know there are better alternatives out there.

Hennessy is a fraud, I wouldn't dare to send my bicycle to him.

I'd love to see that Ford GT with 800 horses. That would be one hell of a car!

Yeah, I've heard of miserable stories about the guy, BUT, i'd have no worries for if i'm uber rich. Defining imperfect is different for each individual. In any case, this viper would be a good change of pace vehicle for someone who has, say, an NSX.

...only in a straight line. On a track those 1000 hp are really useless.
