I like the 6 series very much. But not this one. What Hartge has done to it is close to downright criminal! Horrible...

I have yet to see a tuned 6 series that looks better than standard. Let alone one that looks better than the M6.

have you seen it in person? it looks awful. It literally looks like a Porsche 911 that's had a box attached to the top of it! I have no idea why BMW allowed this.

the side isn't bad, and the normal front is ok (kind of weird too)...but the back is just terrible.
yes, and drive it about 3 months back, back is not great , but its not ugly car

The problems with this car are twofold. One, the BMW trademark kidney grill was more than large enough on the standard 6-series, and this one has just gone too far, though the smaller intakes which seem like extensions of the headlamp shape are kind of nice. Two, the rear end still looks like shit.

Hartge is no joke, but those kidneys are. They said they wanted something reminiscent of the grille of the old 3.0 CSL, the car that started it all for the M division.

I can see what they mean, but why do it when the result looks like crap? *shakes his head*

Hmmm...

They tried to pre-empt BMW's upcoming Lambo killer. Which, apparently, has vertical kidney grilles, if the design sketches are to be believed.

Thing is, the one on the sketches looked fabulous, this one just doesn't work.

lol this car is in the great line of chysler crossfires and the pontiac azteks. as in the designers of those car should or are not employed by the company. in hemi land, these people along with the 6 series are forced to drive pintos and unos for the rest of their lives.

Wow, that is one out of proportion front facia. Very un-comely. makes the regular 6 series look really good...(...and i thought aftermarket was supposed to be an improvement)
