Not only do I promise to never buy from these dealerships, I promise to never go to Reno.

How's that?

Damn that sucks man! Looks like the owner(s) want the full profit for themselves I'd say go find another job, there must be something better for you out there!

Sorry to hear the news, I didn't know Lithia was that bad.

They just bought the local BMW and Porsche dealer by Monterey too, I think it was for around $33 million!

Like I said I can't believe your owner is banking and not willing to share with your employees. Oh well
That sounds like our owner.

We bank over 5 million a year in profit and none of that goes into our dealership. hell we just got a PAX machine after offering them for 3 years we always had to take them over to the (Brand New) Honda store. and He's building a new Toyota store and thinking about a Lexus store. And here we are with not enough room on the lot for stock and service cars and a shop too small and old for it's own good. Shit you make more than I do eventhough I am only an Apprentice at this point still...

very little just for basic upkeep like we got a new Air conditioner because the oldone broke and we got new garage doors because the entrance one got hit by a customer not paying attention and the exit was an ex-porter sending an Integra GSR through it because he couldn't drive stick.

yeah, that's Seaside BMW/Porsche. Every time they acquire another dealer they send out a company wide email about it as if everyone is going to give a shit. Our GM has been tapped to temporarily oversee things down there until they can find another manager to take over, but one thing Lithia doesn't seem to understand is that cost of living elsewhere, isn't the same as in Medford, OR where they are based. I think they're going to see a lot of turnover at that place within the first year.
