Did you take the pic?

I googled it and found lots of pics od the car. Interestingly,

almost all cars differ. I mean the back of the car are different on almost every pic.

I'm too lazy to check it out further.

There's a big chance the car is a replica, ofcorse.

If it's the real thing, well, then whoever saw it, is a very lucky guy...

It could be a replica of a 330 P4 by Noble. They builded some high quality replicas of Ferraris.

8)
At first I thought a Noble P4. I have seen one on a trailer in real life.

My gripe is that the replica is not perfect. If I pay that much money for a replica - it should look like the real thing from 10 metres away as well, not just as a moving dot. 8/

Anyway. I am not so sure its a replica. There is at least one that may be used as a weekend driver on the road. I found some reference to it here:

http://www.velocetoday.com/cars/cars_69.php

An easily forged mark is the white "PROVA MO-53" badge at the right.
Also, Noble cars do not have that huge glass window at the back. Another P4 feature is the white exhausts.
Furthermore the indicators at the bottom are red, Noble versions are orange.
So it all points to a genuine, Ultra-rare 330P4! Chassis #0846

If it is this one, then you had an amazingly rare sighting indeed!!!

It is a picture from Ferrarichat, posted there by Jim Glickenhaus, the owner of the car. It is indeed a Ferrari 330 P4 sn 0846, like irrational_i already mentioned.

The link irrational_i posted is well worth the read! I was about to post an article from a different site, but it appears to be identical.
Another interesting link on the restoration of the car, click HERE

Also, if you go to Ferrarichat and perform a search with 0846, you'll find plenty more pictures and information.

Don't let that worry you. I am a complete classic car fanatic. Know very little about modern cars and classic GT racing cars are my favourite.
The P4 specifically is one of the most beautiful and awesome cars ever made.

And now you know a litle more. :D

Yes, that is the same car. The Ford GT40 MkIV next to it is owned by the same guy. He also has a Lola T70. Lucky bugger...
