my parents bought a 1.2 Polo (3 cylinders) in NOvember against my advice. If they weren't such badge snobs they should've bought the Fabia

Why not? We've even had the Toyota Prius on the wall somewhere.

My reasoning was that there isnt exactly a "special" VW Polo, in the same sense that we have eg. the "special" Golf GTI (the badge being special)......at least the Prius is something different!
