Today on the streets of Ann Arbor I saw:

A very cool looking Hyundai, must be next year model (2012?). The car was white, deep-set black grille very aggressive looking. Enough LED tail light treatment to give Audi a heart attack. This car is sharp, not a copy cat of anything else. I'm pretty sure it was the new Elantra, but could have been the i40 which the Brits already have.

A dark blue Alfa Romeo hatchback with manufacturer plates, only saw the rear and sides. The rear had been recently debadged, and it was not the MiTo. I'm pretty sure it was the Giulia.

I also saw a black mid-sized Chevy van getting a police escort. The motorcycles were 3 in front, 2 bikes behind with the strobe lights flashing. They were speeding, running red lights and using their sirens at intersections. They went on to the highway heading towards the airport. Quite odd. The van had tinted windows. The police officers all seemed to be fairly heavy set, not fat - built up.

It sits in my driveway under a tarp. I did not operate it at all last year, no plans for this year either. Needs some work, I did a lot of experiments on it, some not so good and they have to be removed.

Link to it as a project:

June 17th..today.

A Ford C-Max going +90 mph down I-94...........or at least I was doing 90 and not catching up to him in my Porsche. It's a crossover like a Mazda-5, tall and mini-van like. I could have caught up, but doing 100 mph in traffic to get a closer look at the next city commuter one handed with a slippery camera in my hand made no sense.

Maybe it was called C- something else, it's been a long day. The other 911 and I followed each other for a good 15 minutes before he had to exit.

The C-something had manuf'r plates and a camo-bra.

I also saw a new Ford Taurus with camo-bra. The new grille is very Mustang Shelby-ish or Audi-ish. No photo, sorry. It was white and the black was recessed and very black similar to the Hyundi I saw a few days ago.
