Default Seal Beach Car Show-4/24/04 (50+ pics)

These photos are from a car show I went to this weekend. Im using Imagestation to host them so if you cant see them let me know. Also I have higher res versions (1600x1200) if you want them let me know and ill email them to you or something.

First up is this Z06 we saw on the way. Shortly after taking this pic, we caught up to him and raced him, well, we tried too anyway. We were in my roomates WRX wagon, 3 of us, mods include larger intercooler, turbo back exhaust, up-pipe, BOV and high flow cat (should be good for about 60hp over stock). Anyway, we caught up to him while he was driving and revved it on him and both cars took off. As I was thinking how close the race was, the vette took off and whooped us LOL. Those Z06s are very fast cars, very fast. We were at about 100mph and he took off like we were standing still.

And now, the show...

mid-mounted V8 in a Corvair!!

Detomaso Pantera-7.2 Liter V8 with 2 tanks of nitrous!!!!!

I talked to the owner of this next car. The paint job cost $15,000!!!! somethin like 9-10 different layers.

LOL at the Sunkist can

Too many people around this Cuda the whole time to get anymore nice pics :x

Some beautiful cars there, especially the old Cobra's, but were they all original or were they the fake one's, the 300 SL 'Gullwing' is very nice, so is the black E-type, the red camero and the black vette are very nice, but those hotrods I can really do without personally

Nice looking line-up.

Great to see such a variety of cars in a show. And a pleasant "lack" of exotica is nice sometimes...

Those hotrods represent some awesome workmanship and skills on the part of the builders.

I don't think people realize how important "cars" are in SoCal .. - or for that matter anywhere in the USA - this is a "car crazy culture" - and it's awesome!!!

I think this one is my favourite... just the right stance.. in the weeds a little.. the modern rolling-gear - and the classic "you lookin' at me punk?" muslce car attitude...

Damnit Nova!! What did I tell you about not letting me know about these functions?

There are some pretty nice cars in that lot. I am a huge fan of classic muscle and these kinds of car shows are great.

@Minacious-Fuck sorry man. ops: There is gonna be a classics/hot rod show in Culver City on May 8 and also the Rim of the World Rally in Pomona on the same weekend. Not sure which im gonna go to yet, maybe both.

@RC-Exactly. You dont have to like the particular car to appreciate the work thats gone into it. Thats why I love hot rods, because of the customizing and the creativity....and the massive amounts of power doesnt hurt either

@Erez-PM with your email and ill send you the larger photos of the ones you want.

@Chest3r-those 2 cars were some of my favorites during the show. The peach car is fuckin sick, beautiful craftsmenship in that car. And well the Pantera, nuff said LOL
