only about 1,000 miles in 4 years -
not comfortable for long trips (the guy that does my interior work said it was like a go-cart with a body)
typical sports car drive - feel EVERYTHING on the road
just drive it around town & enjoy the looks

didnt mean it like that dude
don't worry -
I know how you meant it -
there was an Army guy stationed here about a year ago. He had a RED Jalpa. Hopefully he'll be back next year & we can cruise down to the beach (Panama City Beach, Florida - MTV Spring Break place). He sold his car when he went to Korea, but bought another one & is having a lotta work done to it - it's already tuff lookin' before the work (new paint & wheels as well as mechanical).
Now THAT kinda drivin' is what I'm all about -
he'll pick up the chicks & I'll get their moms :silly:

Brembo scribbled:
Been there done that,
been to panama City (PC) or been beach cruisin' ?
we have several pilots from Norway and other parts of Europe, Middle-East, etc. that train here at Ft. Rucker for helicopter combat. Didn't know if you had been stationed or visited here?

if your friend is in Florida, he's probably in Pensacola - I think the Navy still does some copter training there.
I live about 2+ hours Northeast of there. When I had time to play in a band, we played at Corey Navel Station there.
Beautiful area and prettier beaches than Daytona. Pensacola is on the Gulf of Mexico(warm & beautiful). Daytona is on the other side of Florida, on the Atlantic (cold & ugly).
It's in the low 70's F here today, probably 75F & sunny where he is.

grits
good old Southern food -
great if done correctly -
terrible if not -
ask your buddy -
he may have had some -
if not, tell him to try it at a small mom & pop type of restaurant, not a big chain store -
I'm sure you too have some "local" types of food that are not available in other countries -
that might be a good topic for a thread since a lot of countries post here - "What are your local 'ethnic' foods" -
hmmmmmmm -
