9FF GT1 to have a tough competitor
Made by another German tuner. Sportec.
Sportec SPR1 - 800+bhp flat-6, 0-100km/h in 3s, 0-200km/h in 8.7s, top speed above 380km/h

Looks like it could be a pretty exciting car. I don't doubt that it may well achieve 380kph with that kind of output either. The 911 is already reasonably slippery from an aerodynamic standpoint and with 800bhp (assuming it hits that target output) I should think that it could get to 230+mph.

Except for the fact that it's a photoshop and I like the standard 993 GT1 much better than the 996 GT1 (I think it has a sort of brutal sex-appeal that the 996 GT1 lacks).

993 gt1 just isnt in the same league as the 996 gt1 went after... to me, the only way they can be compared is the fact tehy are both porsches

LOL no worries
The 993 GT2 is still something I'd have over its 996 equivalent. Air-cooled it may be, but all the better to hear that induction rasp, and the car was so much more beautiful but pugnacious. I really don't think I'd miss that extra 12bhp that much either in truth.

oh trust me, im right there with you on the 993 GT2 vs 996 GT2
what i had thought i read was you comparing the 993 GT2 vs the 996 GT1... where i was saying they are in different catagories... i still haven't yet seen a true 993 GT2
