Thanks, thanks, thanks and thank you......was waiting for this one, just love the looks of the M6 so now I can find out if it backs that up with on-road performance
I usually wait a bit before I read the articles but I think I'll get into this one straight away

I would take the Ferrari 612 over the M6.

Keep in mind it is twice as expensive.

Great scans!!!

IMO, the comparison with the 612 is stupid... they're in completely different classes.

Maybe it'll teach BMW a lession not to overrate their cars j/k

Ferrari is a low-volume car manufacturer.

Nice articles, and after seeing a 612 in person, and almost an M6 in person (645), the 612 is definitely the better looking car. The M6 still does pretty well for itself, considering it costs less than half as much as the 612 though.

I do have to say that 7.5mpg is atrocious.

Great article, the M6 looks better imo than the 612, but the Scag is a different league.

And shame on BMW M for the "weak" brakes", maybe the"ll get that solved as soon as possible.

Thanks again TT.

The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is most probably a fantastic car but its looks are not exciting in a way ferraris should be.I have seen it in person and it looks a bit bulky. It is in no way an ugly car but at this price range the expectations are high and i dont believe the ferrari justfies its asking price. The fact that they even attempt to test two cars with such a significant price difference is an achievement for BMW.

Fantastic article TT, thanks a million! Really helps pass the time here at work, and helps me save 13 bucks CAN a month on buying EVO... I do like to pick one up here and there, but not all the time cause it can break the bank. I save the $$ for the really good issues, so it is nice that you scan the goods for us here! The M6 is awesome, but cant touch the Ferrari power, exclusivity, history, and sense of occasion. But I do love the M6 interior, best of the BMW bunch IMO, with the liberal use of CF on the centre console and the roof! That M6 is one mean mean mother!
