Default Are Tony Mason and Nick Mason brothers?

Tony Mason

Nick Mason

As the subject says, are they brothers? I have always suspected they are, because of the fact they look alike and they have a shared passion for cars and motorsport. But I have never known for sure, so can someone shed some light on this please?

BTW, it would rock if Top Gear brought Tony Mason and his rally reports back. His enthusiasm was intoxicating and he always had this huge smile on his face, no matter what weather. He was your typical rally fan, standing in some dark godforsaken forest while rain was showering down and still enjoying himself. I also remember the time when rally fans started throwing snowballs at him. That was hilarious.

i've got no idea who they are, but judging by their photos (and surnames ), it'd be a hell of a coincidence if they weren't..
shrugs.

LOL, thanks for your very useful comments guys, but I'm talking about Mason, not Manson.

Nick Mason is the drummer of Pink Floyd and has a collection of the finest cars around. Tony Mason is an ex Top Gear presenter.

Still remember a vid with Tony Mason in which he gives coments during a Rally in the winter quite near the actual stage where he has to stop his presentation because the spectators throw a lot of snowball at him :fadein:

He must've been the 3rd child: "a bit mad and desperate to be noticed".

BTW, Beav: his name is Manson, not Mason. And I doubt that's even his real name!

That's right. Marilyn Manson is Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson put together. Why? Don't have a clue.

Marilyn Manson wanted an artist name that symbolized opposites. Marilyn Monroe is a classic symbol of beauty, and Charles Manson was a serial killer. Other family members did some killing too.

Still no one with an answer to my question?

It's not as important as finding the solution for peace on earth or whatever, but I'd still like to know.
