I think the engine is situated in the back, the front must weigh nothing,
I doubt if it made the car go faster, but still entertaining.

Its just for fun. This particular car has been around since at least the 70s. There are quite a few of them, called wheelstanders. They dont compete or anything its just for exhibition.
But still you have to admit, 11.8 sec in the quarter on 2 wheels is pretty damn impressive.
