Default Anybody else sucked in by "Heros"

The acting isn't particularly well, the script isn't great... but it is better then last year I think.... still, I've totally been sucked in by it.

Stupid add saying "one of them dies"

sheesh, on the edge of my seat lol

I love it!!! I hope Mohinder kicks the bucket. Yatta!

I'm not sure it's better than last season though. The Company was mysterious and scary last season. Now they seem like a group of incompetent fools.

No. I have been immune to that irrational hype over the show.

What I love about it is that it's got a pretty large number of characters and there are a lot of action threads to watch, so it doesn't really get boring, usually there are some characters that don't feature at all in any given episode and despite the fact that you see seemingly unrelated parts at the beginning of a season, as you approach the end, the bigger picture is gradually formed.

You might be the only person I know of that thinks this season is better than the last. This season pales in comparison to the last, and that seems to be a pretty universal opinion among Heroes fans. The ratings for this season also prove that it is weak when put up against last seasons numbers.

What is it about this season that you like more then last?
The new characters are uninteresting and weakly acted. Strong characters from last season are put on second string just so these new characters can be seen. All but two of these new characters (powers-wise) are copies of already established characters that are far more interesting and better acted. The only time the show really shined this season are when Sylar, Peter, Matt or Mohinder were on screen.

^ I mostly agree with that. But still I have to admit I was still pretty hooked on to vol.2 of the show.

What did you guys think about the last episode (S02E11) by the way? I loved the way Peter was tossing his opponents all the way through the air like they were pencils

It moves faster then last season. I'm shallow.

I don't know about the whole season 1 vs season 2 debate as I am usually doing other stuff while watching TV. I find it entertaining and thats all I need.

BTW Im so glad that Maya didn't end up dead because I think she is freakin hot!

Ditto. The powers are cool, but he's a schmuck that's easily influenced. I love what Hiro did with Adam (Kensei), I didn't see that one coming. I hope next season's better and up to S1 standards.
