Default In-car-view video camera mount (HELP NEEDED)

Anyone know how to mount a camera inside a car to get a view of driver and windscreen? The car I want to mount it in is a Porsche carrera 996 4S...

Have a look at this video from inside my Evo on the weekend:

Im using a Manfrotto suction mount which I put on the back window looking between the 2 front seats.

something like that ^ (different brand).

Buy a purpose made camera mount system.

You can expect to spend anything from $100 to $10,000 for video and still camera mounts.

You get what you pay for of course.

I have a range of Cullmann mounts - good entry level systems.

I made my own for when we were Auto-xing and racing the civic. It's a little ghetto, but was fee to make and worked really really well. We used a tripod piece so we were able to adust the camera up and down, left and right, and swivel it. I could get alot of different angles, from driver shots, to full windshield shots.

For the 996 though, im not sure because you dont have headrests like those in the Civic. I have the same problem in the 944. Something with suction cups would work, but something that connects to the seatbelt retractor bolts would also work.
