RC: yeah, pretty much. Xhosa is a really hard language to master for a non-native speaker, as you well know, due to the actual formation of the sounds. Ash moved to SA when he was about 5, iirc. Afrikaans is very similar to Dutch though.

You South African/raised/lived there?

Fluent in both English and Korean(Korean was actually my first language, even though I grew up in the US), but I can speak and understand some Spanish, but of course that is expected growing up in California.

I speak English and Portuguese fluently.
Speak Spanish almost fluently, speak and write French, and understand Italian.

Russian, English, Czech, Slovak(understand but its very simular to czech so no neet to talk slovak), understand partually german(understand it fully with a dictionary ) oh and ruassian swearing language

I speak English and Spanish fluently...I understand portuguese and italian a bit because of the similarity with spanish...and I can understand some swedish, but I can't speak shit even if it was my first launguage.

French, German (+ the local dialect which is close to german, due to some obvious reasons) and English ... if I had to learn another one it would be Russian, dunno why I have always been attracted by this language
