mp3 and "high-end" dont belong in the same sentence, forget the same paragraph, or on this case post, or the whole thread rather.

Ipods appeal to the masses.

Just like many other thing appeal to the masses.

Just like unsafe sex appleals to the masses. Does it make it good or right?

Ok then... High-end digital audio mass market. market being everyone who'll buy digital audio players.

i agree it's a bit OT but i'm just pointing one way more Mac sales may make Apple sell a more diverse Mac line.

High end audio is digital

But it aint MP3

Thats all Im saying, be it Ipod, DellPod or CreativePOD.

Its actually not a stab at Apple, its a stab at mp3.

High end digital audio is DVD-A and SACD.

There is no High-End audio mass market.

Because there is no "high-end" anything for the mass market be it butt plugs, cigars or mp3 players.

Once again, not a personal attack or a mac attack

Thats true so we gotta look just wait till some lucky bastard gets his or her hands on it. Maybe in a few months we might seea 4m calc on it.
and by then, we'll have PC's doing 4M's in under one minute w/out overclocking...
That doesn't really matter much because windows is shit...

When you can buy a studio album recoreded in FLAC or such, and then buy a device for the playback of the media then sure

*Note, with the alienware system the FX4500 was not available and had to be substituted with an FX3500. Got the pics somewhere.

Ya know what now? That price changed for me too! WTF? Must be some glitch or shit.. I think its was the power supply now that I think about it. You put 1 KW and I dont think the Mac Pro has 1KW of power.
