Default Nissan Skyline GT-R replaced in JGTC

2004 Nissan Fairlady Z GT500. More then likely using the same powerplant that the Skyline GT-R used last year, the VQ35. The car basically picks up right where the Skyline GT-R left off, with only aero differences.

I'm not sure if the Fairlady Z in GT300 class will be back again this year.

I think the JGTC skylines were converted to RWD. It's still a prettier car than the Z.

500hp VQ35 Turbocharged V6, same specs basically as the old Nissan Skyline GT-R used in GT500.

And yes, AWD is banned in JGTC, all cars are RWD.

yeah it looks nice, but I liked the old skyline more, that was a huge car, very bad ass, this one is more puppy - like compare to that.
Are there any major changes for the 2004 nsx btw?

Yes, it is sad that Nissan would bring the Skyline production to a hault, but, its place shall soon be taken back up in '07 with a new Skyline. Long wait, but for any Z fan, the new Z wasn't ever in the future when the 300 stopped production.
As for wolf in sheeps clothing, have you looked at the Infinity G35 AWD, same AWD platform as the R34

The Nissan Skyline never stopped production. Only the Skyline GT-R. They merely switched from the Nissan Skyline to the Nissan Fairlady Z because even though they are identical cars, the Fairlady Z is sportier, while the Skyline is a luxury car.

Thanks for the info, I was under the impression that the full Skyline production had stopped.

Oouf, the Z will be hot! Too bad the Nissan Factory cars don't do as well as some other!
