I love how the Porche engineers/designers are soo chicken shit to try anything new or radical,

this pamamera is just a stretched 911, just as they did with the rest of the range they will all look the same from the front but hey ho why spoil a good thing

^Is that a Mondeo?
Finally one of our spy photographers was able to get up close and somewhat personal with the upcoming 4-dour coupe by Porsche, the Porsche Panamera. At last we can bring you with some new details about the much anticipated car.

The caught prototype is far less camouflaged than any of the earlier test cars and clearly shows the front air intakes (photo 4: close up shot of blue Panamera). From these new photos a computer generated image was created which might just be a close resemblance to the final product.

The back, the wheels, that POS of a fender side scoop that keeps popping up on every car nowadays, and we don't even have pics of the front yet

Here a spy pix of the Panamera Interior.

I'm pretty sure the new Panamera will be like the Cayenne, yes they are not beautiful, but they are Porsche models and we will never say no to a Turbo S version of it.

I have a feeling it's going to look as bad as the Cayenne

and just like the Cayenne, it's going to sell well, unfortunately

There's no point bashing something you haven't seen. The car is still quite heavily disguised, we can't see sh*t. So reserve your judgement until all the fake panels and the masking on the tail lights have been removed.

Sell outs!

Hopefully they can con enough people into buying these just like with the Cayenne.

Take a look at what's set to be one of the most controversial cars of the decade - Porsche's long-awaited Panamera.

These renderings, commissioned for the Bulgarian edition of Top Gear magazine, give us the best idea yet of what the likely 'love it or hate it' coupe-like four-door will look like.

The last of the four pictures is Porsche's official sketch of the Panamera from a couple of years back, and you can see that, as expected, the production car will get taller and roomier on the inside while losing the caricatured low-slung profile.

Our best guess is that the Panamera will be officially unveiled at the Geneva show in 2009, becoming an obvious rival to the Maserati Quattroporte, Mercedes CLS and Aston's planned Rapide.

As you can see from the pics, the engine's up front and there's a large rear hatch with, we expect, a retractable spoiler. We know that the Panamera will be rear-wheel drive, but there's nothing official from Porsche yet on what'll be providing the power.

However, rumours suggest the Panamera will get three different engines, ranging from a 300bhp V6 to a twin-turbo V8 with more than 500bhp.

Porsche has hinted at the possibility of a hybrid model, but that'll likely arrive later than 2009, when the first Panameras are due to hit the market.
