Unfortunately I don't think that Kimi will drive a Mclaren next year, not a Renault either, Renault is a dead end. I wish that he would stay but I certainly understand that he's tired of their constant fuck ups. My guess is that Kimi drives a Ferrari next year, what a shame that would be. Mclaren should always have a finnish iceman in at least one of their cars.

There are a lot of rumors suggesting so.

Actually I meant that Renault has announced their retirement from F1 after 2008 but just right now I read that they will stay in F1 to 2008 and beyond so maybe I was wrong.

where ever kimi goes (Renault or Ferrari) I hope he can finally get a win. He's long overdue. I'm not sure what he did in his past life, but in this life he has nothing but bad luck.

who the fuck cares?? i much rather race for a good team and get paid less then being paid alot and not winning races and championships!!

you dont go down in history for making money but for winning!! heck i would race for free if they came to me right now and offered it to me!!
*cough* Ralf Schumacher *cough*

But yea, I hope Kimi really does leave McLaren, preferably ending up at Ferrari and racing alongside Schumacher until he decides it's time to hang up the gloves. I really don't think either driver would have a problem being teammates with one another either, Schumacher has always welcomed a challenge, and I don't think Kimi could give a rat's ass who was driving with him, so long as he was winning (or even finishing at this point).

How come no one thinks Kimi will stay in McLaren? I want him to be there. I dont see how kimi would be at fault for the pit stop? I dont see him climbing down the car to put on the tire.

Someone please explain why you guys are so sure he wont be McLaren anymore.

Because they've cost him the championship at least twice now?

Good point, but dont you think McLaren can simply offer him more money?

Guess it all comes down to wether winning a championship has a price. If Kimi thinks being #1 is better for him than money...

Judging by how disheartened he looks when the car fails him, I doubt he's in it just for the money, the guy wants to win and is very competitive. In Canada, he set the fastest lap of the race, edging out Alonso by nearly a full tenth of a second. He seems like a real racer, and I think he'll go where he feels he can win, not to whoever kisses his ass the most.

But if the only thing wrong with McLaren are their cars failure, wouldnt that be solved with the Renault engineers? I read that McLaren bought Renault engineers, am I right?

I haven't heard anything about that, though there's been a lot of crap going on lately and I guess I could've missed it.
