Wow very nice, I love that carbon fiber lip on the front bumper. Can't wait to hear it in person!

The lip doesn't look to be carbon fiber, but i could be blind. Anyways this should be a great car, and the set-up of using the 2.0T is what the R32 should have had.

I already saw these S3 pictures on another Audi forum and I always find this new S3 is simply a perfect evolution of the previous model.
I share your opinion gobs3z concerning the fact this front lip spoiler isn't made of carbon fiber.

Indeed. This looks very tame. So what's the point with the V6 3.2 version now? Shouldn't that engine (in some form) be the top dog version?

Seriously - it's a perfect evolution of the current model as Schwalbe has said. The engine choice couldn't have been any better in my opinion... the 2.0 TFSI engine has a better feel than the V6 seen, for example... in the R32. Anyway, I read somewhere that the power would be 'only' 260hp, rather than the claimed 272hp in this article Anyway, it will be a serious contender against the 130i, that's for sure!!
|
Not only the 130i, to me also the days for the Focus ST seem counted

I was expecting more agressive car. 2.0 TFSI engine has enough power IMO. 260-272 hp is enough to challenge with its rivals.

nice, a yellow one . this is more or less what i expected. the normal "S" audis usually don't have an agressive look. understatement is the key word. i think audi will not change that in future. look back to the other s models or the new s6 or s8 comming out. they don't look much different or agressiv then the basic models.

Rivals?
The only rival in its power and price segment is a BMW 130i, and the Golf R32...
RS3 ..should have a 3.2 V6 Turbo, with an output of 300Hp

I don't think the GTi has four wheel drive.
