GT4 is pretty damn real with a wheel. It's not 100 percent correct, but it is damn close. The gtr game beats it, sure. But then as said above gt has better polish.
The issues I have with gt4 are more due to the tuning aspect then the stock cars. For the most part the stock cars feel correct.

There won't be any Ferrari's or Lambo's, but it will feature RUF's which is close enough.
|
Nothings yet done, few weeks ago a serious french site about the game
started telling there won't be any porsche or ferrari but have a doubt cause
in the making of movie some images shows ferraris and it is known
by serious informator that 348, 355 and 360 have been tryed in Japan
just like Porches. With Lambo that's another problem, a european society
bought license and is now closed, polyphony got lot's of trouble buying it,
and as far as I can remember the Japan GT3 got Lambo JGTC.
If this is not case I'll be happy to drive Tthe CLk GTR aswell...

cars are classified by country...

If its anything like GT3 then I'm very dissapointed. The slip curves were moddeled like shit in GT3......and they way you could save the rear end from swapping ends with the front made me laugh.

The entire Gran Turismo series is accessible to all types of people who enjoy cars and not the hardcore enthusiasts. It is easy to see why some people would get upset, but all in all it is a great racing game for the masses with a tradition of everyday cars and gorgeous graphics.
