Eh...it looks like a shrunken Range Rover...not a bad thing, it's still a fine-looking vehicle, but it doesn't have the styling panache of the Range Stormer concept, that car was just badass.

I like! It's not about the looks that's special. It's supposed to be good on-road rather than off-road.

Some extra information:
The car will be first shown to the public on the Detroit Motorshow in January. It will be released around March / April. The Range Rover Sport is set up to be the more sportier - and a bit smaller - version of the Range, to compete with mainly the BMW X5. It will be positioned between the normal, slightly bigger, Range Rover and the Discovery 3.
The Range Rover Sport uses the platform of the new Land Rover Discovery 3, but with a shorter wheelbase. Although this is a sporty SUV, it will have the same Terrain Response system as the Discovery 3 so it can be used offroad without getting stuck. The Range Rover will also be equipped with air suspension as standard.
There will be three engine options available, 2 petrol ones and one diesel. The top model will use a modified 4.2 supercharged Jaguar V8, producing ‘only’ 385 bhp, but with a torque of 500 Nm. The base model will be a 4.4 normal aspirated 4.4 V8 with 295 bhp. And the diesel is the same as the one of the Discovery 3, a 2.7 V6 with 190 bhp and 450 Nm of torque. All will be linked to a Command Shift 6-speed automatic gearbox with low/high gearing and the possibility to shift manually.

Land Rover didn't released any info about its exact size yet. But my guess is it will be 10 to 15 cm (about 4 to 6 inches) shorter than the big Range Rover.

This Range finally looks stunning!!!
Any data about the new engines? I heard that they will use the 2.7 diesel engine
from the S-type....
Will it be more expensive than the current model?

some series results showed that safety does not related to sizes. modus can protect its passengers better than a 5 series ugly bmw. you can say that different cars in different classes can not be compared according to their safety features. however, if you make a quich research all of the parameters of a human body are same for every crash test in every class. i can send you a video in which a giant american truck ford f40 i think something like that, hit to a barrier and almost destructed. size does not matter
