I will take a custom shot this weekend.
The beetle´s drivermanual is lost, but i have a "KFZ-Schein" wich is a offical licence, there you have to sign in the owner an and all modification wich have to be inspecten and controlled by a state licensed carengineer called TÜV (technical observation society).

First proof my Homepage
http://home.t-online.de/home/paveman/Kaefer.htm

The beetle is very stable at high speeds due tue its independent suspension, basically the same as the Porsche 944. The little Wing on the Top does the rest.
And Yes! It´sa an aircooled 4 cylinder just like the real beetle engine but witch 2500ccm and dual sparkplugs. Its made of Alumium Nicasil in Aircraft Quality.

Nice looking 944, like the wheels very much.
Beetle is too cool; how many cars have you scared with that?
For the custom pic just write something like "Jabba's world merry xmas"on a piece of paper and stick in shot, i think would be ok.
I Want to see a bug vs 944 battle on Nurburgring if that would be ok!! 8)

I thought you might have changed the rear suspension on your beattle, i've driven regular 1.6 ones fast on a racetrack and they can be pretty scary, Fiat 600's also have the same rear suspension type...and same behaviour

And here is the topic opened again thanks for providing the custom shots (adding them to the first post in 2 seconds )

Congrats on both cars! Do you use the 944 as your daily drive and the Beetle when you want to have fun?

The Superbeetle has not only a nearly idendtical 944 rear suspension it has also a McPherson Strut in front.
Like this (not mine)

This my rear suspension and brakes

So you can even enjoy sharp corners.
In fakt: on Hockenheimring (a german Grand Prix Circuit).
I managed to pass a corvette in a corner.

On the german Autobahn a overtook a Lotus Elise (old model).
The only limit is the worse aerodynamics of a beetle, but due to the good weight/horsepower ratio (800kg/ 190HP - nearly that of a 996 turbo) cars up to 300HP are no match at speeds under 100Mph.
Even so is my tuned 944 turbo.

That beetle sounds EVIL to drive! You got any more build shots on it? Any of the engine build up?
