This has been getting talked about much in the sportbikes circles, obviously. It is one thing to hear or read about it, but quite another when you see it happen.

Dear god...he was pretty mega.

I can't tell from the video but did he just get thrown onto the track on the highside? Some websites are reporting that he was hit by another rider but I didn't see it unless someone hit him coming over the crest, but he seemed knocked out as soon as he hit.

Just wondering - I'm assuming that unlike the MotoGP bikes they are running without TC...just the way the bike just steps out from him makes me wonder. I suppose if that's the case then this will give more credence to the argument for keeping TC in MotoGP. I guess if it keeps the drivers from not being killed i'm all for that...but as probably most people are, I'm torn between loving the racing because these guys have balls of steel and ride so extremely well and the safety of those guys...

Rest in Peace Craig.
