Ford has decided to can a great truck, and will focus on thier other projects

They also put the new SVT Focus on hold as well. From what I've read elsewhere, they did it to concentrate on the upcoming SVT Mustang.
The fact that they are losing money and sales are down probably doesn't help much either.

Thats nothing new, They more then likely are laying in wait. But Ford needs to make something for the Ranger with the Toyota X-runner coming out.

what!!?where did you find this out. Thats horrible news, i was really looking forward to the new lightning as a SRT-10 beater. im very dissappointed :x that concept lightning was so badass looking.

this has been known for a few days. autoweek and such are reporting it. also, SVT did want this to happen, it was a Ford decision. probably cause their company had a close call and they need to make it stable again.

yeah, found out a few days ago via my dad

... i agree that this is horrible news i just hope that it doesnt mean we have to wait til 2010+ for that awsome truck to once again scoarch tires...

there are many reasons for this. thats really all i can say

HAHA! i always thought the SVT Lighning and the SRT-10 were pretty damn pointless but none the less the SVT looks badass
