The CLK-GTR and the SLR are from the Maisto showroom collectioon and the Cobra is from a company called Road Signature. I fixed the posts to include those.

I was actually quite impressed with the quality of the CLK-GTR and 911 GT1 myself. They are a special run of Maisto (as well as the SLR).

And yes I do wish they were real.

I also wish I got to decide which models would be made because there are quite a few that no one makes that I would like.

Autoart used to(I dont know if they still make it but perhaps you can find it ins tock) make the CLK-GTR in 1/12. In fact the model was the racing version and it used to come out in 2 different versions.

BTW, in the "McLaren-Mercedes" collection... the Macca has BMW engines actually, and the CLK-GTR is not from McLaren... but I'd like to have it anyway!
This I know. I started to call it the Mclaren Collection but I wanted to throw the CLK-GTR in there if you notice I was kind of trying to reproduce the Mclaren Collection as shown in Driving Ambition (best car book ever!). The SLR and CLK-GTR are just place holders until I get the Ueno Clinic GTR, a red GTR '96 and a black GT and a silver F1.

Keep an eye on ebay. There is one every few months. Matter of fact I saw another one recently. Mine actually has some damage (driver side mirror and the number on the drivers door is damaged.
