It's a UK spec car so I think that means it has n launch control.

However, I agree, it's not a car that I desire, it's gearbox and drive train see to that, that said, there's no denying it is a very quick car and often has the measure of more powerful and more expensive rivals.

To see it do a quarter mile in the same league as many a Caterham R500 is simply astounding. The GT-R is the defining point of my argument that it's not how fast you go, it's how you go fast that matters.

being faster than everyone is not really what makes me moist, it's more to do with feel, edge, limits, grip, slip, and ability

Funny thing is that is what the S2000, Boxster, Miata and M3 drivers all say... after they are passed a couple times

When you have 1.1G and 650bhp on tap you dont need to beat the living piss out of your car to make it go fast and turn hard.

And for reference just how much good it does to "have the corners", even a full race prepped Miata is dog slow. What good is having the corners if you get walked on the straights? See 5:15 through 6:30 for reference material

Slow gear changes; obviously your car is a monster, I'd love to feel what it's like first hand.

However, driving a mere 205 1.9 can reward in ways 600+ bhp can't.

This is true... I cut my teeth with hot hatch backs, and there is a lot to be said fo rfun below 80mph.

Things get real fast and real scary really quickly this car now - and I would rather not go home all wadded up on wrecker so I tend to be less aggressive with it now, compared to how I used sling it around.
