Default What was your first bike?

Mine was an AR50, the same colours as this AR80:

Cool eh? ops: Ok so it's technically a moped...

My first 'proper' bike was an RD125LC (red and black but same graphics as this one, I think mine was a 1986):

Of course after you pass your test you go out and ride as much as you can of anything you can get your newly-licensed hands on. The first 'test ride' I had, and experience of riding anything bigger than a 125 was one of these:

130kg and 45hp - Let me tell you, it felt like a rocket!

Alas, the TZR was at the time much more than my budget would allow, so I had one of these at Uni, effectively the TZRs fatter older sister...being a bit bigger (100cc bigger) she had a little bit more oomph (14hp)

Now I shall await ridicule from all the US riders who started out on 'small' 600s!

[I snagged a couple of your pics T/A ]

I started out with an '84 RD350,

next came an RG250 Gamma,

followed by an FZ750 for a very short time

- whcih was replaced by an FJ1100.

Then came the CBR400RR.

First bike state-side was the RC45

- then a TZR250RR SP to keep it company.

I'll dig up some pitchas of em later.

Guys, thumbs only from imageshack, even small ones

Well, not really a "bike". (it was tuned with an 80cc piston and the whole engine was upgraded around it
Piaggio Grillo

Malagutii Phantom.. a 50cc originally, but soon became an 80cc too

This was the first "real" bike.. but I just used it to pass the 125cc license and then forgot about it... still roaming around in the family waiting for the next person to pass the license

And the last bike I had in my possession was a big one, which was passed to me by my dad while we were selling it
