We made beef stew a couple of weeks back (actually it was a month ago now I think about it)

Pretty easy meal to make, and very tasty. We didn't use wine, but baked beans hehe.

I made an Indian dish called Biriyani ... with pork, potatoes, tomatos, rice, and lots of spices. If done by someone who knows what (s)he is doing, it looks like this ...

But not when done by me ...

My sister and her husband loves Indian food. He comes from Houston too and says there are tons of great restaurants there. That looks good too.

^ Yeah, Bugger King; I think it's what they call a Whopper in Spain.

I had pasta with marinara sauce last night, and a bread roll. Back on the diet after a week of gluttony in the UK

I never thought the beef stew thread would attract so many replies

I'm of Italian heritage, so when you mentioned pasta and marinara you got my attention.

Seriously.
All that great food in Spain and you had Burger King?? Don't get fat like us Americans, we eat too much fast food.
