Life after Diablo........
What do you true lambo lovers feel about how audi has represented lamborghini as the new owners of this little car manufacturer e.g. murcialago better than diablo? or gallardo just a dressed up audi??

well i think it will never be truly "lamborghini" , it doesnt mean that it woudnt be a good car, but i would not have the lambo spirit in it

naaaaa, i believe its stays the same, minor changes in interior, but the cars still have the bull spirit in them, maybe not as raw as they used to be but a lil more refined

being that ive never driven one, ill make an educated guess
lambo was regularly making the worlds fastest street car (top speed) now they arent
lambo goes amazingly fast, then and now
i think the mercialago is the natural progression of evolution of the headlining lambo
the gallardo in its looks, and paddle gaer box have lost something... mabey its lacking the italian styling, and gusto.
in a situation where i could choose either a mercialago, a gallardo, or a Z06 in a particular order, id take the
1 mercialago
2 Z06
3 gallardo
but thats just my opinion with driving zero of the above cars

The better part is that with the resources from Audi (VW) Lamborghini is still able to make cars, and i guess better constructed.

I can't say the Murcielago is not on my top 10 list. I simply adore that car. I have never driven one and probably never will, so my point and of almos everyone in this forum can be only based on numbers and looks.

i like murcielago ..... i don concider it as a true lamborghini though .... but i simply love it ... 8)
well IMO the real spirit of a lombo is " a car with a jet engine" ...... now look at gallargo .... its got a V-10 and only dose 190 + so it simply sucks :x ...... diablo was is perfecr example {tht was pre german}...
.. the ture lamboness has rilly vanished ..
if a supercar dosnt have ITALY in its equation .. it just dosnt look right ....
now look at bugatti EB110 ... its got 4 cam's 5 valves 4 turbos and a V-12 and its italian ... 8)
as i look at it .. its like audi has tamed the raging bulls ....... thats what actually sux .. 0X

Although the Murcielago might be considered a "true Lambo", the Gallardo stirs my passions more because it is more of a useable supercar. I saw my first ever yesterday on the street, and boy, the sound that thing makes...However, at the New York Auto Show they had a targa Murcielago [pix in another old post] which wasn't bad at all, but i don't like the way the Murcielago goes to 72mph in first gear alone. Just, when can you ever change gears?

Lambo's are certainly more user friendly, they aren't as wild as they used to be. And although I love the Gallardo, a Lambo just doesn't feel right with a V10 engine and "normal doors". In my opinion Audi should just give'em the money and leave the rest to the Italians.

For me its a true Lambo, they just refind it, made it more available.
If you ask me I like it more than the previous model.
