Default Got a new Ibanez bass

well, it's not really new. My roomate had it first but when he moved out, he left a bunch of stuff behind. including this little beauty and it's accompyning 15 watt Crate amp. I didn't even realize he had left it until i was packing my gear up and noticed there was one extra case behind the couch I called him up and asked him about it and he said he didn't want it, so i took it with me All it needed was a new set of strings and for a wire to be resoldered to the output jack. Haven't plugged it in yet though.

It's kind of cool because i've been wanting to get a 4 string so i can learn how to slap. My SR305DX is nice but the strings are to close to accurately slap them. This one is GTR 70. Don't know much about it yet either. All i know is it used to have a pick gaurd but doesnt' anymore :bah:

time to do some research

other than a super 8 camcorder, no.

I'm kind of stuck though. I can't find any info on the GTR-70s apparently they haven't been around for quite awhile but that's all i know

I tried playing the guitar once. It wasn't for me, so I stuck to the piano.

Looks good though.
