do you know anything about the rule of thirds?
|
I am fully aware of it, as I've taken a six month course on photography.
what kind of equipment are you using?
|
canon A60 i believe 2.0MP
|
Thanks for your posts guys. Night shots coming soon...hopefully.
Any cars around where you live ... pics .. hint ... hint
|
We have cars around here. I'll have to see what I can find. Snowmobiles are more popular.

light pollution which means you can't see any stars while in the city.
|
just ask me
im able to get tons of night sky pics lately.... but ive usually not been up, or the battery is dead (the latter of which is true now)
badmihai... your camera is only 2 mp? quite nice looking photos... although, im not one for all those 'artsy pictures' hugely, i still enjoy them.
as for the shrule of thirds... eh.. take what you like, and if you like em, post em... and :fist: those who dont like em although, i must admit, the rule has improved my pictures dramatically... i think (mabey i really dont know)

Ah..that's just the refuge of the wannabe connoisseurs. As soon as they hear about it they think it should be in every picture. There are other things to look for in a photo, guys!
|
ya Henri Cartier-Bresson and Eugene Richards are "wannabe connoisseurs"
people that take pics of flowers don't care about "real" photography, they take documentation shots, very different. didn't they teach you that in your 6month course?

Those are some cool shots, although they have nothing to do with cars, but damn they are good and only using a 2 mp camera.

Is it the driver or is it the car, I say a little bit of both, a good driver with a bad car won't win the race and a great car with a bad driver won't either
cheers

Your analogy is better than the one used by me. But there are exceptions: I have seen amazing photos taken with shitty point-and-shoot cameras before (this is not to say that my camera is a mere point-and-shoot job ). While my camera might "only" be a 2MP is has some more advanced manual controls.
